  • Position Summary

    The Environmental Representative will provide environmental support and technical services to the company with a strong emphasis on environmental compliance and emergency response. This position will need expertise in environmental health including, but not limited to: emissions, disturbed lands remediation, waste management and minimization. Position is located in Williston, ND with a M-F or 9/80 schedule. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Assist with planning and implementation, and audits of the environmental programs and policies for the operation, ensuring compliance as required by regulatory agencies and corporate policy
    • Manage waste and remediation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, including the oversite of waste management plans, shipments, manifests, and regulatory reporting
    • Act as the point of contact for both regulatory agencies and operations on required reports, payments, inspections, and other applicable regulatory requirements
    • Maintain a working knowledge of existing and proposed regulations for Montana and North Dakota
    • Provide regular updates on Department results and status to operations management; including Environmental key performance indicators, growth projects, and regulatory reporting and enforcement activities
    • All other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Geology, Engineering or related sciences
    • Good computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Must live within 50 mile commuting distance of Williston, ND or Watford City, ND
    • Must be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurance
    • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and functional capacity examination

    Preferred Qualifications

    • M.S in Environmental Science or Engineering
    • 5 plus years of Oil and Gas related experience
    • 40 Hour HAZWOPER
    • ICS 200 or above
    • 5 years of experience in the environmental consulting or Oil and Gas industry working with emissions, waste management, and brine and hydrocarbon remediation
