  • Position Summary

     

    Oasis Midstream Partners has field internship opportunities available for the summer for student’s currently enrolled in their sophomore or junior year. These individuals will have the opportunity to work in a field operations environment in an assigned North Dakota field location. 

                 

    Essential Job Functions

    Interns are assigned a mentor and a project where they will gain valuable experience and contribute to the Oasis team while managing day-to-day duties.  All interns will give a final presentation to management at the end of the summer.  In addition to their project, interns will gain:

    • A fundamental understanding of midstream pipeline facilities
    • A fundamental understanding of oil & gas processing facilities
    • Interaction with the Engineering, Construction and Operations departments
    • A basic understanding of safe processes and related behaviors
    • Experience networking and building relationships inside and outside of Oasis
    • Exposure to other disciplines not related to the summer project

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Pursuing Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering
    • Expected graduation date of December 2019 or later
    • Candidates applying must be able to work in their assigned North Dakota field location (Williston, Watford City or Alexander) during their internship
    • Available for a minimum of twelve continuous weeks
    • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer, copier, files, telephone, and fax; maintain attention to detail despite multi-tasking; acuity to read printed materials or a computer screen and communicate in person or a telephone conversation
