  • Position Summary

    With the continuing growth of Oasis Midstream Services, this individual will participate in the development and operation of Oasis midstream assets in the Williston Basin. Focus will be on produced water, crude oil and natural gas gathering systems.  Also, the position will assist with fresh water distribution and produced water disposal systems.  The position requires a detailed operations background and understanding of the design, construction and operation of midstream assets.  This position is based in Williston, North Dakota.  Level and salary commensurate with background and experience. 

    Essential Job Functions

    • Work with Houston engineers to design, construct and operate salt water disposal wells and pipeline gathering systems
    • Generate detailed project scope and bid documents for pipeline and facility projects
    • Provide operational support to the field level staff 
    • Perform pipeline integrity inspections and mechanical integrity tests
    • Develop AFE cost estimates
    • Track actual costs and monitor expenditures for all AFEs and Budget
    • Involved in project activities with multiple entities including  E&P (Houston and field), Land, Marketing,  Legal, and Accounting along with external entities such as contractors, equipment providers, government agencies, regulatory bodies, landowners, and other producers
    • Participate in projects as needed with Company growth
    • Travel as required for project engineering & construction oversight

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering degree preferred
    • Operations experience in the Bakken
    • E&P and Midstream experience
    • Experience in pipeline gathering systems and Saltwater Disposal operation
    • Well versed in I&E and SCADA
    • 1 year of Midstream industry experience regarding design, construction and operation of water, crude and gas facilities
