  • Position Summary

    Coordinate all phases of operation of well site and assembly operations for fracture jobs.  This includes  preparation of equipment and materials, transportation of personnel and materials, successful site set up and completion of fracturing jobs. Responsible for all onsite activity and execution of the job and job quality. Level and wage commensurate with experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Must understand and perform all duties according to Oasis standard operating procedures and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines and EH&S guidelines.
    • Responsible for making safety performance and environmental awareness the primary focus of all employees.
    • Responsible for the planning and direction of employees during the preparation, transportation and job site activities.
    • Ensure all job parameters are correct.
    • Oversee safe rig up and execution of the site and the job.
    • In charge of overseeing activities from the water tanks to the well head ensuring that all are rigged in and ready to go.
    • Mentor all personnel in equipment training.
    • Responsible to ensure that all employees have paperwork completed according to regulations.
    • Must be able to manage sand, water and chemicals as per specifications for each job.
    • Coordinate necessary corrective action with management.
    • Provides day to day direction of personnel at home base and site location(s).
    • Present quarterly performance documents to direct reports and discuss plans and expectations for the upcoming quarter.
    • Train employees to understand and comply with Oasis standard procedures and EH&S policies.
    • Maintain satisfactory driving record.
    • May be required to work on a 24 hours call basis.
    • Provide orientation and on-the-job training for subordinates and ensure that the authority and responsibility for each position is defined and understood.
    • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Six months supervisory experience in a fracturing environment.
    • Four or more years of fracturing experience.
    • Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Thorough knowledge and execution of all data systems in the data van.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
    • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements, current valid medical card
    • Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health Requirements.
    • Demonstrated satisfactory driving record (in compliance with DOT regulations).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Qualified in rigging iron, transferring proppant and chemicals, fluid end maintenance, iron truck, chemical transfer unit, water transfer unit, tanker, pneumatic truck, sand box, forklift, chemical add trailer, and auxiliary equipment
    • 5 years or more experience working on fracture stimulation crew
    • Local candidates preferred
