  • Position Summary

    Responsible for duties that including, but not limited to, gathering data, maintaining databases, generating reports, and providing administrative support to the Midland Leadership team. This person will be expected to have strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, and must be exceedingly well organized with a proven track record to meet deadlines. This position is located in Midland, TX and is a Monday-Friday or 9/80 schedule.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating key Company meetings, lunches, and events
    • Answers phones, screens and directs incoming calls; screens voice mail messages
    • Prepares and edits letters, prepares/assists with PowerPoint presentations, and manages spreadsheet files
    • Participates in the planning and promotion of company events and team building activities
    • Assist with QA/QC of morning reports and Open Wells activity set ups.
      • Ensure quality Open Wells data by reviewing and/or correcting daily drilling/completion reports
      • Support Operations team by providing output from Open Wells including KPI’s, Downtime, cost review, Post Well Reviews
    • Obtain run tickets from lease operators and review production records, resolve discrepancies and generate reports.
    • Assist and collaborate with accounting group with invoice approval and work with Midland Leadership to ensure all invoices are properly coded and signed.
    • Prepare data and reports to assist management team in tracking KPIs against targets
    • All other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 1 year working in an Administrative function
    • High School degree or equivalent
    • Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
    • Able to work under tight deadlines
    • Excellent  communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Strong  analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated
    • Must live within 50 miles of Midland, TX

    Preferred Qualifications

    • College degree
    • 1 year Oil & gas industry experience 
    • Experience with Open Wells
