    With the continuing growth of Oasis Midstream Services (OMS), this individual will be responsible for third party commercial business development of Oasis midstream assets in the Delaware Basin. Primary focus will be assisting the OMS team in the initial development of strategic business opportunities for the existing and planned OMS produced water disposal gathering systems, freshwater and reuse of produced water, crude oil gathering, and gas gathering/processing.  The position requires the vision to grow and expand OMS business opportunities in a way that brings greater value to Oasis Petroleum.  This position is located in Houston, Texas with travel requirements to meet with 3rd Party Producers and field operations.  Potential to expand into additional basins along with the ability to work in the future within the Oasis initial production area, the Williston Basin.  Level and salary commensurate with background and experience. 

    Essential Job Functions

    • Develop a strategic business plan for produced water gathering and disposal, freshwater and reuse of produced water, crude oil gathering, and gas gathering and processing that leverages our existing assets
    • Lead the effort in developing key relationships with third party producers and downstream midstream business partners
    • Establish a dialogue with producers and other third party entities that fosters a positive growth environment for the MidStream business
    • Negotiate and draft required contracts associated with the OMS Business Development efforts
    • Work closely with the OMS capital engineering staff regarding project costs and economic analysis of 3rd Party midstream opportunities
    • Lead, review, and advise on intercompany Oasis/OMS contracts from the OMS perspective
    • Present projects and interact effectively with the Oasis management team
    • Establish goals, objectives, strategies, economics and budget requirements for developing new midstream business
    • Establish strategic long term goals for growing OMS over the next 5 to 10 years
    • Additional duties as requested based on Company needs

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business development background
    • 5 years of industry experience or similar
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills
    • Ability to work with internal and external contacts
    • Positive, self-starting attitude
    • Ability to travel as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Commercial Negotiations and Contract Experience
    • Operations experience in the Permian
    • E&P and/or Midstream experience
