  • Position Summary

    The HR Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the administrative processes supporting the recruiting efforts for designated departments.  This individual must enjoy working in a team environment and be energetic and passionate about providing exceptional support to our organization and interested candidates. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager in Houston, TX. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.  

    Essential Job Functions

    • Works closely with the Human Resources team and designated departments to meet recruiting deadlines
    • Quickly learns Oasis specific HR fundamentals to serve as point of contact for employee questions, including:
      • The recruiting process from the requisition phase to onboarding candidates 
      • Benefit and payroll basics
      • HRIS data entry basics
    • Loads job requisitions into applicant tracking system for approval
    • Posts positions to required job boards
    • Schedules for both phone and in person interviews; is a point of contact for candidates interviewing and scheduling for interviewees
    • Assists the HR Business Partner with ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to guide them accordingly
    • Assist with pre-interview phone screening of candidates and reference checks as needed
    • Ensures candidates are moved through the post-offer process to the onboarding stage in a timely manner by communicating with vendor and candidates as needed
      • Prepares draft offer letters
      • Submits candidates to background check vendor; works to get additional information to promptly clear candidate
      • Moves candidate to onboarding status prior to start date
    • Learns Oasis policies and conducts new hire orientation
    • Processes change of statuses forms for internal candidates
    • Processes Leave of Absences as needed
    • Manages i9 Tracker; submits new hires to Tracker and through e-verify
    • Collaborates with recruiting team to promote employee referral program
    • Promotes the Oasis culture and values and is an active participant in Company events
    • Collaborates with HR team to plan, coordinate and promotes all HR programs including but not limited to Wellness, Open Enrollment and HR-related trainings
    • Inputs expenses, and other data as needed, into applicant tracking system and pulls data out for recruiting reports
    • Promotes collaboration within HR and internal clients at all levels of the organization
    • Other duties and projects as needed requested by Supervisor

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel
    • Has a strong desire to work with people at various levels of the organization
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude with an innate desire to help people
    • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment 
    • Strong desire and ability to produce creative communication 
    • Effective face-to-face and email communication 
    • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and direction from multiple people
    • Ability to travel as needed to field locations or university campuses as needed
    • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related field
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Experience in a recruiting support role
    • Experience with Outlook and managing peoples calendars
    • Experience with graphic design
    • Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking system
    • Oil and Gas recruiting experience
