  • Position Summary

    The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling a wide range of support related tasks. This person will be expected to have strong communication skills with the ability to work independently, and must be exceedingly well organized with a proven track record to meet deadlines. The Administrative Assistant will report to the General Manager and support key managers of the organization. This position is located in Williston, North Dakota.  Level and salary commensurate with experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Manages calendars for key managers, while coordinating with other assistants, staff or external vendors as needed
    • Arranges all travel plans and reservations (including complex itineraries), prepare itineraries including making schedule adjustments while trips are in progress
    • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating key Company meetings and events
    • Answers phones, screens and directs incoming calls; screens voice mail messages
    • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follows through on issues in a timely manner
    • Communicates and works closely with other assistants
    • Assists with incoming and outgoing mail
    • Prepares and edits letters, prepares/assists with PowerPoint presentations, and manages spreadsheet files
    • Participates in the planning and promotion of company events
    • Handles additional tasks and projects as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school degree or equivalent
    • Associates degree or higher
    • 5 years of relevant experience
    • 2 years experience in a high confidentiality role
    • Excellent Outlook calendar management skills for multiple managers
    • Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
    • Able to work under tight deadlines
    • Efficient communication and interpersonal skills is critical; approachable
    • Experience and proficient with PowerPoint presentations
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Currently resides in Williston, ND
    • Ability to manage flexible work hours and after hour requirements
    • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical,  functional capacity examination, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Certified Administrative Professional Certificate
    • Prior oil and gas experience with an understanding of oil and gas operations and terminology
