  • Position Summary

    The Plant Foreman will safely perform and direct all plant functions, specifically the operation and maintenance of a large Gas Processing and Crude Storage facility. This individual will manage, lead, and train plant operators in the safe and efficient performance of their duties. This position is located in Watford City, ND. Salary and level commensurate with experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Properly operates and maintains facilities in accordance with Company procedures and PSM regulations and industry best practices
    • Utilizes knowledge and experience to champion a safe, continuous and efficient operation of the facility
    • Manages a facility in continuous (24hr/day, 7 days/week) operation, employing rotational shift work
    • Coordinates with field gathering personnel and transport pipeline customers to schedule deliveries and manage downtime and plant upset operation
    • Coordinates all sampling and testing of products to ensure on-spec product
    • Manage and track cost on a daily bases for the Plant, Crude Terminal and Plant MRU
    • Manage budgeting and cost reporting for Plant Operations
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School diploma
    • Computer Skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
    • 5 years of developing leadership experience related to the operation and maintenance of Reciprocating Compressors, Natural Gas Fired CAT engines, Oil-flooded Screw (Refrigeration) Compressors, Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchangers, Shell and Tube Exchangers, Single and Multistage Centrifugal Pumps, Mole Sieve Dehydration Units, Fired Heaters and Mechanical Refrigeration Units
    • Ability to set expectations, coach, mentor, and develop contractors to enhance implementation and cost efficiencies
    • Experience in Gas Gathering, Compression and Processing and Crude Storage and transport
    • Supervisory experience with the ability to manage 20-22 rotational shift employees
    • Knowledge of applicable ASME codes including B31.3 and Pressure Vessel Code
    • Must possess excellent communication skills
    • Experience with budgeting and cost reporting
    • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
      • Able to handle exposure to noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively
      • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, functional capacity examination, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job
