Position Summary

This Field Operations Assistant will provide a variety of support to the efforts of the Production program. This individual will be responsible for routine to more complex assignments including, but not limited to, record maintenance, reporting, preparing correspondence,  filing, and admin support. Salary and level commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Obtain run tickets from pumpers and review production explorer records to ensure they match, resolving discrepancies
  • Provide data and generate reports for Houston as needed
  • Prepare and maintain tracking spreadsheets as necessary
  • Support regulatory needs for the Company
  • Perform general office duties (maintain office supplies, make copies, answer phones and direct calls, filing, etc.)
  • Assisting Lease Operators daily
  • Performs additional assignments or duties as assigned by Supervisor based on Company needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in comperable position
  • oil and gas experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • 5 years experience in upstream oil and gas industry
  • Ability to manage flexible work hours and after hour requirements
