Position Summary

The HR Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruiting efforts for our Oasis Well Services (OWS) entity. This individual must be energetic and passionate about providing exceptional support to our organization and the candidatesThis positions reports to the Human Resources Manager in Houston, TX, and work closely with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) that supports OWS.  This position is located in Williston, ND. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Works closely with the Human Resources team and OWS leadership to meet recruiting deadlines
  • Quickly learns Oasis specific HR fundamentals to serve as point of contact for employee questions, including:
    • The recruiting process from the requisition phase to onboarding candidates 
    • Benefit and payroll basics
    • HRIS data entry basics
  • Loads job requisitions into applicant tracking system for approval
  • Posts positions to required job boards
  • Schedules both phone and in person interviews; is the primary point of contact for candidates interviewing and scheduling for interviewers
  • Assists the HRBP with ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to guide them accordingly
  • Assists with pre-interview phone screening of candidates and reference checks as needed
  • Ensures candidates are move through the post-offer process to the onboarding stage in a timely manner by communicating with vendor and candidates as needed
    • Prepares draft offer letters
    • Submits candidates to background check vendor; works to get additional information to promptly clear candidate
    • Moves candidate to onboarding status prior to start date
  • Processes change of statuses for internal candidates in designated departments
  • Processes Leave of Absences for designated departments
  • Manages i9 Tracker; submits new hires to Tracker and through e-verify
  • Serves as a backup moderator for new hire orientation
  • Assists with material preparation and copies for trainings and other HR Communications.
  • Collaborates with recruiting team to promote employee referral program
  • Is a strong advocate in promoting the Oasis culture and values and is an active participant in Company 
  • Collaborates with HR team to plan, coordinate and promote all HR programs including but not limited to Wellness, Open Enrollment and HR-related trainings
  • Inputs expenses, and other data as needed, into applicant tracking system and pulls data out for recruiting reports
  • Promotes collaboration within HR and internal clients at all levels of the organization
  • Other duties and projects as needed requested by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Has a strong desire to work with people at various levels of the organization
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong desire and ability to produce creative communication 
  • Effective face-to-face and email communication 
  • Positive attitude and innate desire to help people
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and direction from multiple people
  • Ability to travel; multiple school campuses & Oasis corporate
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Outlook and managing people’s calendars
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking system
  • Oil and Gas recruiting experience
