With our continuing growth, the Oasis IT department has a need for a SCADA Analyst – this individual would need to have a broad understanding about SCADA and the different software used, a specialized knowledge of the components of the system from the field to the monitoring software. The individual would be responsible for assisting with the construction and daily maintenance of the current SCADA system; adding, removing, modifying and testing sites and points; retrieving desired data and provide monitoring and control functionality for the many users. The position would also configure the routing required for communications, and have the ability to troubleshoot along with field personnel to diagnose and solve failures.
The individual would actively develop screens and reports to meet the customer requirements, ensuring the information provided is timely and accurate.
This position would report to the IT SCADA Infrastructure Manager. The individual would work closely with the Oasis Midstream Partners and Oasis Petroleum North America groups, as well as supporting the operations of the Control Center, the Processing Plant, and the Compressor Stations.
The individual should be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources. Must be able and willing to follow an issue through to resolution and assist with providing root cause for severe and recurring issues.
This position would be a “hands on” role, actively supporting architectural strategies, communications, monitoring contractors, and understanding the full scope of all monitoring and control functions. This will extend to all areas that utilize SCADA systems, current and planned.
Level and Salary will be commensurate with experience.
