Position Summary

Oasis is seeking an individual to be responsible for the monthly accounting of Oasis Well Services’ (“OWS”) tool rental and production chemicals service lines. Position requires frequent interaction with all levels within the Oasis organization, including the Operations, Supply Chain, and Treasury departments. Level and Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

May include, but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for timely tracking and coding of Purchase Orders, Customer Invoice Billings, and Invoice Processing.
  • Responsible for setting up and/or coordinating AFEs and related workflows.
  • Responsible for recording of monthly fixed assets and associated DD&A activity.
  • Responsible for ensuring monthly intercompany eliminations are complete and accurate.
  • Responsible for all account reconciliations and analysis related to OWS tool rental and production chemicals activity.
  • Responsible for reviewing all assigned G/L accounts throughout the month for accurate coding, and making corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure SOX compliance for OWS tool rental and production chemicals accounting activities and document/maintain processes and controls.
  • Support OWS tool rental and production chemical Operations and Supply Chain Management, as needed.
  • Special projects, as needed/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-2 years oil and gas accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all areas of the organization
  • Flexibility to grow and expand with company needs
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
