Position Summary

This individual will assist the Marketing Group by taking responsibility for contract administration duties as well all administrative and support functions.  The candidate will be able to work independently with moderate supervision and have the experience to know when to follow up. The position will interface with multiple groups within the company as well some outside 3rd party contacts. This person must be able to shift priorities and adapt quickly to the needs of the group.  The position requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills.  This person will report to the Marketing Director and the positons is located in downtown Houston, TX.  Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contract Administration
    • Coordinating the execution of new contracts with counterparties and Oasis internal departments
    • Maintaining all contracts in SharePoint or M-Files
    • Understanding and preparing contract briefs
    • Monthly Deal Confirmation Process
      • Preparing deal sheets
      • Ensuring counterparty signatures
      • Tracking all deals
  • Support the marketing team in a vast number of ways including data entry and analysis, scheduling meetings and printing out daily reports.
  • State Regulatory requirement
    • Filing and tracking all crude oil hauler forms with North Dakota and Montana
  • SOX – responsible for ensuring Marketing SOX requirements are met
  • SharePoint – be the key contact and expert regarding SharePoint
  • Cross-training with other members of the marketing team to understand and backfill as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 Year College Degree
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel, Word, SharePoint and  PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to various requests
  • Keen interest in learning the oil and gas marketing business
  • Strong interest and ability to interact with others, both within and outside of the organization
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, copier, files, telephone, and fax; maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Bachelor of Science closely relatable to the Oil and Gas industry
  • Understanding of Oil and Gas Marketing Contracts
  • Flexibility to work over-time if requested or needed
