Position Summary

This individual is responsible for the maintenance of specific assigned salt water and freshwater systems to include disposal wells, transfer pumps, booster stations and pipelines. The position covers various locations around the Williston, ND area. Salary and level commensurate with experience.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs quarterly pressure tests of pipelines
  • Provides routine maintenance of transfer pumps, booster stations and disposals
  • Troubleshoots problems with transfer pumps and disposal pumps
  • Reports any concerns about the well, well site or equipment
  • Confers with production foreman and superintendents on operating issues or problems
  • Collects used filters from disposals and disposes of filters properly
  • Calibrates meters as needed to ensure accuracy
  • Assures operational compliance with governmental requirements and company policies
  • Drives safely to and from wells and well sites
  • Must understand and perform  all duties according to Oasis standard operating procedures and in compliance within all regulatory and EH&S guidelines
  • Possesses and maintains HAZWOPER certification
  • Completes required H2S training
  • Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions and physical duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to comply with DOT Regulations
  • Live within a 50 mile commuting radius of Williston, ND
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
    • Able to handle exposure to noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively
    • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, functional capacity examination, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with salt water disposals, transfer pumps, and pipelines
