Position Summary

The Inventory Tech is to assist in all aspects of inventory management including but not limited to tracking and researching inventory movements, entering Material Transfers, and entering Goods Receipts .  This position is located in Williston, ND.  Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure that products and services are of the specified quality per contract or purchase order.
  • Process Goods Receipts and Material Transfers in a timely manner.
  • Analyze data and situations, identify problems, and generate potential solutions.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts, as well as quarterly physical inventory counts.
  • Assist in tracking movement of products and research discrepancies.
  • Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma of equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with inventory management software
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with computers to include MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and other MS Office programs
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Oil and Gas Industry
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work independently with changing priorities
  • Must live within 50 mi. of Williston, ND.
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically with excellent quantitative skills
  • Previous experience in an Inventory Management role
  • Associates degree or higher
