Position Summary

The Quality Operations Support Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing solutions to improve services provided by Oasis Well Services (OWS).  Improvements in OWS safety, quality, reliability, maintenance, training, well site delivery, documentation and inventory will be developed and implemented by the position.  This role will be responsible for solutions around loss elimination, risk management and causal analysis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with the option of 9/80.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop, implement and manage current continuous improvement program(s)
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement projects
  • Ensure processes are in compliance with regulations and current industry standards
  • Advise operations staff on Best Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Oasis Operations Manual
  • Maintain and update Operations Manual and Quality related Standard Operating Procedures
  • Generate, store, and report metrics that track operations performance and improvement
  • Continually review and refine processes and procedures to ensure a high level of measurable performance
  • Lead causal analysis for events, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress to provide meaningful reports to OWS and/or Oasis Management
  • Work with other groups on incident, investigation, and corrective action reviews
  • Arrange teams in various departments and facilitate meetings to meet objectives around continuous improvement
  • Implement and improve Competency Management system for field staff
  • Work directly with OWS Management to set organizational objectives aligned with the continuous improvement cycle
  • Employee may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the company

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years standalone experience in hydraulic fracturing
  • Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or 2 years supervisory experience
  • Root cause analysis experience
  • Must live within 50 miles of Williston or willing to relocate
  • Understanding of quality improvement systems and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in commonly used software and ability to learn specialized software
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability
  • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, functional capacity examination, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of field engineering experience, or 8 years of frac experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Previous experience as a Continuous Improvement/Quality Engineer or its equivalent
