  • Position Summary

    A rewarding opportunity for someone who accepts challenge is self-motivated and can perform with minimal supervision. This position will be in charge of coordinating contractor field work as well as performing routine maintenance to Oasis facilities. This position will be based out of Williston, ND. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Troubles shoot and perform basic electrical maintenance.
    • Coordinate and supervise multiple electrical contractors and electrical facility design.
    • Coordinate with regional power distribution companies and coops to ensure timely delivery of location power.
    • Review contractor charges for accuracy and approve invoices.
    • Work will be performed with the oil and gas production environment.
    • Electrical facilities consist of motors, motor controls relating to sucker rod pumps, electrical submersible pumps, LACT units, saltwater disposals, miscellaneous pumps, along with PLC controls, and some instrumentation.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of oilfield or industrial electrical experience performing installs and maintenance.
    • Basic computer skills
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Must be 21 years of age or older per insurance requirements
    • Knowledge and ability to interpret the NEC and state electrical codes.
    • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
        • Able to handle exposure to noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
        • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, walk extensively
        • Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, functional capacity examination, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with motors and basic control circuits
    • Proficiency in PLC programming or other logic equipment
    • Journeyman or higher certification preferred
